Scouts at the Firestation

This morning Kevin's Scout den had a "go see it" at the fire station. The firefighters showed the boys the station and all the trucks. They got to see the insides of a Medic One truck and of course the big firetruck. Each boy got to go through the back to check it out and then of course go to sit in the driver's seat. The firefighter then explained all his gear and put it on. The boys had a blast.

Here are the boys and their cousins on Easter at grandma and grandpa's house. Grandma hid about 40 or so eggs with money and candy and the kids had so much fun looking everywhere. We also had real eggs died by my sister and her kids. Then after the kids emptied the eggs of all the money and candy. They hid the eggs for the adults.

We had sandwiches, 3 different salads my sister made, chips, dip and, of course, dessert. The kids had cupcakes while the adults ate the wonderful mousse cake we got from Safeway.

Getting Started

Since most of our family has started this blog thing, we thought we would try it too. Maybe this way the family photos and updates will actually get to family members.
